The Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) and the Central Securities Depository of Uzbekistan (UzCSD) have established a direct depository link, enabling Uzbek domestic securities to be held through the Armenian depository infrastructure.
The new link has now been successfully used for the first time by RoemerCapital, acting through its local Uzbek brokerage partner Alkes.
Beyond the immediate regional impact, the new infrastructure creates an additional access point for international investors seeking exposure to the Armenian and Uzbek capital markets. It is expected to support the continued development of both markets and contribute to the broader integration of the two economies into the international financial system.
Alkes and RoemerCapital are pleased to have contributed to this important market-infrastructure initiative and look forward to further cooperation in expanding cross-border investment opportunities.
